Last updated: 25.02.2026

1. Service Provider

The RIVAL service is provided by Tomasz Iwanowski, e-mail: contact@rival-engine.com.

2. Description of Service

RIVAL is a free web application for organising tournaments in single-elimination and round-robin formats, with support for Grand Prix (multi-stage competitions with point scoring), qualifiers, referees, co-organisers, a friends system, activity history and push notifications.

3. Registration and Account

Registration requires a valid e-mail address and password. Users must provide accurate information and keep their password confidential. One account may be used by one person only.

4. Event Publication

Organisers may create events and share them publicly via a link. The organiser bears full responsibility for all content published within their events.

5. Participants' Personal Data

The organiser is the data controller for personal data of participants (players, referees) added to events. The organiser declares they have a legal basis to process such data under GDPR Art. 6 and is responsible for informing participants. RIVAL acts as a data processor on behalf of the organiser.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". The service provider is not liable for service interruptions, data loss or any damages arising from use of the application.

7. Complaints

Complaints should be submitted to the service provider's e-mail address. A response will be provided within 14 business days.

8. Account Deletion

Users may delete their account at any time in the Settings section. Deleting an account permanently removes all data associated with it.

9. Account Suspension

The service provider reserves the right to suspend an account in the event of a breach of these terms, in particular processing personal data without a legal basis.

10. Changes to Terms

Users will be notified of changes to these terms by e-mail with 14 days' notice.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes shall be resolved by the court with jurisdiction over the service provider's place of business.
